Common Ancestry, 2012
This time-lapse animation shows the evolution of two paintings and was created as a part of the "Connecting the Dots" project, exploring chemical evolution through art. Terri Dilling received a grant from the Center for Chemical Evolution to learn about the scientific research being done there, and to create artwork in response, as part of a dialog between scientists, artists, and the broader community. This video was first shown along with the paintings at Spruill Gallery in Atlanta, 2012.
