Cyanotype is a process that creates a blue print through exposure to UV light. I have created a variety of blue lotus images using this process, and some of them also incorporate gold metallic ink. Each piece is unique, created by hand and exposed in the sun to make the blue print. I love the way sun and water makes this art, and that the exposure process makes it a recording of a moment in time, especially this significant election year.
